Marimekko bag Venni Pieni Unikko Bag, bag made of heavy cotton canvas with the Pieni Unikko motif, printed in Helsinki. The bag has an adjustable shoulder strap, a magnetic button closure and an open pocket inside. Marimekko's famous poppy motif Unikko was born in 1964 at a time when the house's collections mainly featured abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to make something interesting out of this organic theme and designed a whole range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
